The Inaugural Un-Holy Trinity Day will take place on July 16, 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland in recognition of the official beginning of the "Nuclear Age" in the US.
America's first nuclear bomb was exploded by the federal government at the Trinity Test Site, Alamogordo Bombing and Gunnery Range, at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The "Trinity Test" took place on July 16, 1945. Plutonium and other toxic and radioactive chemicals were dispersed for hundreds of miles. Some areas are still contaminated.
The purpose of this event is to shed light on the continuous ionizing radiation pollution and contamination of the United States and other locations throughout the world. The focus of this event will include a most UN-Holy "Trinity" of radiological horrors: (1) nuclear bombs, (2) nuclear reactors, and (3) conventional Uranium Weapons (such as Depleted Uranium or DU) now used in military testing, training, and military combat.
